Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)
Solution-Focused Therapy is a form of psychotherapy or counseling. It is also referred to as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. This form of therapy focuses on solutions to problems or issues, and discovering the resources and strengths a person has, rather than focusing on the problem.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive behavioral therapy is a common type of talk therapy (psychotherapy). A structured format environment, CBT helps you become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking so you can view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
‘Dialectical’ means trying to understand how two things that seem opposite could both be true. For example, accepting yourself and changing your behaviour might feel contradictory. But DBT teaches that it's possible for you to achieve both these goals together.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Clients learn to stop avoiding, denying, and struggling with their inner emotions and, instead, accept that these deeper feelings are appropriate responses to certain situations that should not prevent them from moving forward in their lives.
